Going Abroad is a project amongst partners and associated organisations from Sweden, Germany, Lithuania and Poland. It is part-financed by the South Baltic Programme and the European Union.
As a small-scale entrepreneur it can be difficult to take the next step and to expand your business to an international market; it is therefore that Going Abroad as a project aims to strengthen the position of female entrepreneurs with micro-businesses. In cooperation with partners and associated organisations, Going Abroad brings together a fortune of international expertise, experience and like minded people. These are resources we use to help our participants to growth and to establish their business on an international level.
One of the project's cornerstones is therefore the implementation of cross-border networks which simplify the steps to export and international trade.
Going Abroad, which runs from June 2011 until December 2013, is in line with European, national and regional strategies for development that highlight the importance of utilising the potential in small and medium enterprises to create growth in society.
This potential for growth also has a gender dimension, since there are fewer women than men who start up and run businesses. There may be many female entrepreneurs who want to take the next step and to promote their business on an international scale and it is this resource that Going Abroad aims to target and to support
This March, our new teams started their work - Have alook att the five Success Teams 2013
